There are places that make you slow down — and places that awaken your sense of adventure. Here, you get both. Sintra's Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995, brings together extraordinary palaces, historic gardens and wooded hills. It's a place where a family day out can feel like stepping into another world.
Beyond the hills, the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park opens onto the Atlantic: sandy beaches, rugged cliffs and coastal paths with room to breathe. Wander through enchanting gardens, share a beach picnic or watch the evening light soften over the ocean. There is so much to explore — and no need to do it all.
